DESCRIPTION

MIDAFUR ® FOLIAR 350is a systemic insecticide of the nitroguanidine group, whose careless use can cause contamination damage. It also acts by ingestion and contact for the control of insects that invade crops. The action of Imidacloprid is based on an interaction in the transmission of stimuli in the nervous system of insects. Like acetylcholine, a natural chemical transmitter of nerve impulses, Imidacloprid excites certain nerve cells by attacking a receptor protein. Unlike acetylcholine, which can be rapidly cleaved by the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, Imidacloprid cannot be cleaved or the process proceeds slowly. The prolonged effect of MIDAFUR ® FOLIAR 350 disrupts the nervous system of the insects, ultimately resulting in death.
