MIDAFUR ® FOLIAR 350is a systemic insecticide of the Nitroguanidine group, whose careless use can cause contamination damage. The action of Imidacloprid is based on an interaction in the transmission of stimuli in the nervous system of insects. Like acetylcholine, a natural chemical transmitter of nerve impulses, Imidacloprid excites certain nerve cells by attacking a receptor protein. Unlike acetylcholine, which can be rapidly cleaved by the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, Imidacloprid cannot be cleaved or the process proceeds slowly.
